Just four rooms share this beautiful expanse of beach on Xpu-ha bay. All have wonderful ocean views, plenty of privacy and are just steps from the ocean.

We reckon they have the perfect combination of rustic, away-from-it-all charm with just the essential modern amenities. There are no telephones, no televisions and no air-conditioning, but you can bring a hairdryer (there are plenty of electrical sockets in the room) and free standing electric fan coolers are also provided.

The two rooms on the second floor, Aire and Aqua, both have one king bed, while on the first (ground) floor, Tierra has one king bed and Fuego has two double beds.

The spacious interiors feature local hardwoods and are designed to complement the tropical surroundings. The screened louver windows on three sides of the room can be opened to allow the sea breezes to circulate, bringing the gentle sound of the ocean into your dreams. The powerful fans provided in the rooms are seldom required during the winter months.

Bathrooms have a large shower, a vanity unit, toilet and open hanging space. Plenty of hot water is available throughout the day. Bath towels and beach towels are provided at the hotel, as is bottled water.

Views of the Caribbean can be enjoyed from the terrace or balcony as all the rooms are only a few steps from the beach.

Blissful ocean views can be enjoyed from both the ground floor and the first floor balconies; this is the view from the ground floor room Tierra. Each room boasts a large private balcony just like this, complete with two chairs and a Yucatecan hammock for lazy siestas.
