For those who prefer to keep up with their exercise routine, Azul Beach Hotel does have an air-conditioned fitness room. It's a fairly small gym, but nonetheless has a good range of equipment that includes cross-trainers, cycle, multigym and free weights.

Large windows look out over the pretty gardens, and there's a TV to keep you entertained during your work out, plus a welcome fridge that's packed with a plentiful supply of bottles of cold water.

A spa is currently under development and due to be completed soon.

A range of spa treatments are currently available at the beach, including massages and body scrubs.
