This glorious stretch of soft white sand was voted Cancun's best beach by the Discovery Channel. Here the ocean is an unbelievable turquoise blue with barely a ripple on the surface, like an enormous swimming pool.

It's perfect for children, with shallow water (about two to three feet deep) extending out for a hundred yards or more. Adults will need to venture further out for some serious swimming, but if lounging around in the shallows is more your scene you'll love this tropical paradise.
