These photos were taken on Monday August 27, just six days after Hurricane Dean passed through. As you can see, the beach and ocean remain as inviting as ever and the hotel escaped relatively unscathed.

The vegetation suffered a little bit but the gardens around the hotel are already recovering. Cabanas la Conchita re-opened to guests on August 30th after minor repairs.
