Guests can be forgiven for their surprise when they arrive at the hotel via a steep cobbled road, coming to a halt outside an old stone mansion.

Yet behind the heavy wooden doors it is possible to glimpse the opulent furnishings of the reception room. Checking in by the grand fireplace and winged arm chairs, new arrivals are delighted to be given a 'house key' in addition to the key to their own room.

The Deluxe rooms are the lowest room category here, but still offer opulent surroundings with lots of colonial charm.

Deluxe rooms generally have either a terrace or a fireplace (if you'd like both we'd recommend requesting a Junior Suite or Suite). Note that most of the rooms facing the street fall into the Deluxe Room category and might be noisier than the internal rooms.
