In the tenth, historical convention is forsaken as a magnificent 60 foot swimming pool occupies most of the ground space.

Some suites have private terraces, but all the house guests can enjoy the tables and chairs arranged in the main courtyards.

Colorful bougainvillea climbs the stone walls besides centuries-old fountains and a profusion of terracotta pots. Open the doors to one house and you'll even come face to face with a life-size wooden horse.

The Junior Suites are very spacious accommodations, usually with a sitting area, a fireplace and a private or shared terrace.
