You will find it hard to believe that you are in an all-inclusive hotel; the quality of food and level of service is amazing. All meals are served a la carte and guests have several restaurants to choose from.
It's always a pleasure to dine in the hotel's delightful restaurant Emiliano. The airy room is arranged in tiers so that all the tables have great views over the patios and swimming pool.
At night thousands of fairy lights twinkle in the palm trees, and the gardens and pool are skillfully lit to create a magical setting.
breakfast and lunch
For breakfast, we often choose to dine alfresco on the terrace. It's a more casual setting though the service is still of the same high standard.
Here we catch the light breezes and watch the activity in the pool and golf course, while perusing an equally extensive menu selection. Warm bread and sweet rolls are served with American breakfasts, and there's a wide range of omelets including shrimp and spinach or pumpkin flower and huitlacoche.
At lunch time we enjoy eating at the beach club to the sounds of the ocean. The quesadillas and molletes are delicious.
If you are able to tear yourself away from the hotel's restaurants, you do have the option of eating at two of the restaurants at the Casa Velas' larger sister hotel, Velas Vallarta.
