| I love the place but after staying there many times (and always making me wait to check in until 3:30pm or so) they still wouldn't let me extend my check out time by one hour to 1pm, when Deseo and other hotels would for my other friends on the trip. I had a 3:51pm flight so leaving by Noon was a pain. J. Connaughton, United States

| Deseo was fantastic. In addition to the gorgeous sleek design, which is apparent from the pictures, this hotel's best feature is the infallible advice they offer. They never steered us wrong, always sending us to the best beaches, restaurants, spas and daytrips. Not only is the staff knowledgable, but they have great taste - which is hard to find. They also did not judge us when we asked for economical suggestions, which they were full of as well. The rooms were sparse by design, but filled with thoughtful details: incense by the bed (I bought a box), Mexican condoms, and their house DJ piping chill music by day and thumping music by night. Because at night Deseo turns into a fabulous stop in Playa's thriving nightlife. It was like having a little bit of home (New York City) in a gorgeous tropical paradise.

| I would first like to say that we highly recommended different world to practically every vacationer we met while in Mexico, as not only your website but customer service was outstanding! Deseo was extremely accomodating after we told them the saga of our ordeal. They canceled our stay there at no charge - I will go stay at Deseo for that very reason. S. Hersman, United States
