The airy Club House serves all meals in a casual and welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast is a generous buffet featuring juices, fruit, yogurt, breads, cheese and ham. Hot dishes, including Huevos Mexicanos and Omelet Xixim (with cheese and shrimps) are cooked to order. All are served with large mugs of coffee.

Many guests are out on excursions or sightseeing trips around lunchtime, but there is a varied menu of snacks or larger meals available here for those staying around to relax by the pool and beach.

Local restaurants in Celestún also serve excellent fresh seafood and we recommend a visit at least once during your stay.

The evening meal, as well as breakfast, can be included in the rates. Usually two or three choices of appetizer, main course and dessert are offered, and vegetarians are well catered for. During our last visit, delicious warm rolls served with butter or garlic mayonnaise accompanied the meal.

The Club House is really one large room, screened and partitioned into separate areas. About a third of the floor space is taken up with a games area, complete with billiard table and table tennis. Parents will find this valuable entertainment for children in this remote location.

TV and video equipment are found in a cozier lounge area, with a useful range of books on the local flora and fauna to be found on its shelves.

The bar offers a good range of refreshments, including great margaritas, but it is still a child-friendly area.
