Inside, the casitas are very well equipped considering the remote location and ecological emphasis (the resort generates its own electricity but this is available 24 hours a day). A couple or even a family will find the rooms spacious; each has twin double beds and a separate sitting area with plenty of room for four.

The comfortably furnished sitting area is a superb place to cool off during the hot afternoons. Most windows are screened with mesh and fitted with louvers. Hence they can be opened to allow air to circulate during the day or night.

Large ceiling fans cool the room during the hottest hours, and we barely notice the absence of air-conditioning, even during the summer months.

There are no televisions or telephones in the rooms, hence no room service either, but a laundry service is available.

The large tiled bathrooms have walk-in showers and vanity units, all modern and sparkling clean. Guests are requested to specify when their sheets and towels are laundered and colored wooden blocks are provided to aid communication with maids.

Linen will be changed daily willingly but, given the strong ecological theme here, guests usually welcome the opportunity to contribute a little to the economic viability of the project.

Each casita has a terrace with an unobstructed ocean view (you can see the view reflected in the window in one of the picture above!). There are two comfortable chairs and two hammocks to lay in, this is a great spot to sit and enjoy the view and spot the wildlife.
