the guest rooms
Each casita is a separate building and very generously sized - we particularly like the large outdoor porch. Furnished with comfortable chairs and a hammock, we'd happily spend many an hour here.
There are open aspects from most windows and wide views of the low dunes and sea from the porch; a refreshing treat after city hotels.
After dark, the moon reflects on the ocean and a thousand stars can be seen in the night sky. With no large scale development in the area and the wide expanse of the Gulf of Mexico stretching ahead, there's little to detract from the celestial display.
The latter are nearer to the sea and have better ocean views, however the odd numbered casitas are compensated by a more tropical setting in a grove of palm trees.
Of these, numbers 13 and 15 have the most privacy but are further away from the restaurant and pool.
All the casitas face the ocean and have views over the shallow dunes.
