dining
Elegant and imposing, the Hacienda's formal restaurant makes any meal a special occasion. High vaulted ceilings, French windows lined with yards of lavish drapes and a black, volcanic rock fireplace set the scene for fine dining in the evenings. There are also several romantic locations within the Hacienda and its gardens where a private dinner for two (or a family group) can be served. One of our favorites is the rooftop terrace, where the breezes cool the balmy evenings enough to warrant a jacket or sweater.
An optional meal plan can be reserved. There's a very
extensive menu for breakfast and dinner, whilst dinner menus
are changed daily and are posted in advance in the Yellow
Room. All dietary requirements can be catered for with
sufficient notice.
During the daytime, and particularly at breakfast, the
terrace overlooking the gardens is our favorite place to
eat. The smell of freshly baked bread often lures guests to
their tables, where a tempting menu of hot dishes, freshly
squeezed juices, cereals and fruit awaits. Lunch is also
served in the Pool Pavilion, a more casual setting where
swimwear with cover-ups is acceptable (meals and snacks can
also be served at your poolside sun lounger). The menu
includes Caesar salad, grilled meats, fajitas, tacos,
burgers and pasta.
