| Thanks again for all your arrangements - they were really very helpful. The Hacienda Uayamon was just splendid. Everything was perfect! We drove from Cancun to Campeche without big troubles (approx. 6 hours) and were indeed very happy having a car with us to discover other nice sites by doing little trips in this area. | We found the hacienda very nice, a lot of humidity in Uayamon but the hacienda is very nice. We are going to give this information to our friends if they visit Mexico.

| WOW! The most beautiful, elegant room/suite that we have ever stayed in. just lovely, as were the very gracious staff. The only person we felt could have made more effort was the manager – for such a small (in terms of guest rooms) hotel, I was surprised he did not introduce himself or say welcome. I got the impression that our stay was longer than most people’s too, and given the style/cost of the place this felt a bit of a failing. We had the best massages we have ever had at the Spa there, the therapists had wonderful hands and spirits. Food not as great as it could have been, again, an unchanging menu and being vegetarian it was quite limited. One point to note is that if anyone is thinking of riding there, there are only 2 horses, and they are not novice rides! For English/European guests you should note that the horses are ridden in western tack/style, and the guide (who rode a bike!) hadn’t enough English/we hadn’t enough Spanish for us to communicate about this.
