| We had a wonderful time in Mexico and at the Hacienda Uxmal. It was very special. It seems like the hotel keeps the rooms with view of indoor courtyard for tours and put us in a room in a dark corner, but with a nice view of the surrounding forest. Only 4 chaises longues around the pool; about a dozen more would be about right. It's unfortunate that the dining room is all closed up; why not open up the wall giving onto the courtyard with big bay windows?

| We were very pleased with the hotel. It was charming, in its own way. We loved the Hacienda Uxmal, which was like an oasis in the jungle. However, we found their food pricy, in a location where we didn't have a lot of options for anything else - but that's a minor complaint. I'd strongly recommend this hotel.
