The pool at Hacienda Uxmal is wonderfully refreshing for those who've spent a long day in the sun exploring the ruins.

Set amongst the hotel's beautifully cared for gardens, it is large and inviting with lots of comfortable sun loungers and shady spots to retreat to.

We recommend visiting the ruins early in the morning, whilst it's still cool, then spending a few hours round the pool in the afternoon.
