the guest rooms
There are just thirteen rooms at Hemingway, dotted along
the beachfront and in and around the tropical gardens.
Each is made up of individual one-story cabanas complete
with their own small terrace and sun chairs.
There is Boa (snake), Búho (owl), Jaguar, Tortuga (turtle), Venado (deer), Pulpo (octopus), Cocodrilo (crocodile), Iguana, and Delfin (dolphin), Juanito, Arrecife (Reef), Estrella (Star) and Caracol (Snail).
Each has different beds according to their size; some
have a king and a queen, while others have a mix of
doubles and singles. All have a small sitting area and a
large en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower.
The rooms have only limited electricity, but this simply
adds to their charm, and fits in well with the hotel's
ecological theme.
Lighting and some electrical outlets are powered by generator and are available in the evenings from 5:00pm to 11:00pm, although there are plenty of candles and nightlights around the room if you're a night owl.
