La Via Laktea is a collection of eight large and spacious rooms, located at the tranquil southern end of Tulum close to the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve. This is an ideal spot for those looking for peace and relaxation. There is a beautiful expanse of beach just steps away from the rooms where you can while away your day.
For those searching for escape, days can be spent reading under the shade of a palapa, cooling off from the sun in the azul waters of the Caribbean or long walks along deserted stretches of pristine shoreline. For those looking for a more active vacation there is snokeling and diving close by and the many attractions of the Biosphere Reserve including kayaking and nature trails.
The hotel is quite remote but there are a few restaurants within walking distance. The hotel has a small restaurant which opens for breakfast. Breakfast is prepared from fruits and ingredients bought freshly and locally each morning.
The four circular 2-story buildings are topped with a traditional palapa roof. They are separated by sand and tall palms. Interiors are simple with furniture from local craftsmen and Mexican artwork. This is an understated but stylish beach hideaway.
