iturbe room
All the rooms at the Mansion Iturbe offer an
abundance of historical charm. They have either one king
or two double beds, and some also have a sofa that converts
to a further bed. Bathrooms are generally small but pretty, often with
heavy wooden doors and traditional tiles.
The mansion was once the main residence of one of the
leading families in Pátzcuaro, and the guest rooms include
Doña Paca's original bedroom. Another room had a
secret entrance and could be used for hiding people during the
revolution. Details such as stone window seats
and step-out balconies make these quarters very appealing.

Many
of the rooms have views over Don Vasco square or the quiet
side streets, showing the quaint character of Pátzcuaro.
One internal room has a private terrace overlooking the
courtyard. Despite being in the heart of town, these rooms
aren't generally noisy.
