The Junior Suites may be the basic room type at the Marquis, but they are very impressive. Each covers 650 square feet and boasts a stylish bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and a feature window through to the bedroom so that you can admire the ocean view from the tub.

The complimentary continental breakfast is delivered through a "magic box" so you needn't be disturbed and can enjoy a cup of coffee as soon as you wake. At least one original oil painting is featured in each room.

To guarantee a good nights sleep, beds are fitted with reversible firm or soft mattresses and furnished with Frette bed linens and super-light goose down duvets. The Junior Suites are fully air-conditioned and also feature ceiling fans that can be controlled from the bed. These rooms can have either one king or two double beds, and in addition each has a sofa bed (double size in the king rooms or single size in the rooms with two double beds).

The remote-control satellite TV and a CD player can be found in the armoire and each room has a direct dial telephone with voicemail and fax or computer connection (broadband internet access is available at an extra charge). Wireless internet access is available around the pools and also in the Casitas and Marquis Suites.

The luxury bathrooms include a Jacuzzi tub with a view of the ocean and a walk-in shower. The toilet is in a separate room within the bathroom. Bulgari amenities, and a freestanding hairdryer come as standard in all the rooms.

Every Junior Suite boasts a fabulous ocean view from its terrace, which is usually around ten feet long by four feet wide. A table and chairs are provided so that you can enjoy the complimentary Marquis breakfast here as soon as you wake (the breakfast is delivered to the room via an alcove so that you are not disturbed).

The Junior Suites are divided into two categories; ocean view and ocean front. Most rooms are ocean front but there are a few ocean view rooms that are stepped slightly back from the beach with lesser views.
