The Mayaland is the oldest hotel at Chichen Itza. Located by the main entrance to the archaeological site, it's the perfect base for exploring this intriguing Mayan city. The Superior Rooms and Mayan Suites are located in the main building of the hotel, and from their terraces many have views of the ancient temples in their jungle setting. In addition to these rooms there are a cluster of traditional Mayan bungalows scattered throughout the beautiful tropical grounds.

All rooms have air-conditioning, ceiling fans, satellite TV and mini-bars. They have a local rustic style with heavy carved wooden furniture and pretty pastel textiles and decor. Beautiful stained glass reliefs depict birds and butterflies that can be frequently spotted in the hotel grounds.

The hotel is set in over 100 acres of tropical gardens and jungle that are perfect for exploring either on foot, cycle or on horseback. There are several restaurants, a bar, three swimming pools and a tennis court. The hotel also can assist guests with tours and activities, including tickets for Chichen Itza, the Sound and Light show and horseback tours of the city.
