dining
We love the open-sided, airy restaurant at Ocho. Perched on top of the dune,
diners can enjoy wonderful views of the beach and water peeping out from under the large
palapa.
The restaurant has a stylish ambiance. Simple wooden tables and chairs are carefully placed, allowing plenty of space and privacy between them. And if you want to get even closer to the water there's additional seating on an outdoor terrace.
The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Continental breakfast is included
in the rates but there is an a la carte menu too with a range of options including eggs
cooked any style, chilaquiles, fruit plate and berry cakes.
For lunch there is a selection of snacks and light bites including sandwiches, cerviche and salads, as well as fresh fish and steak dishes.
In the evenings, with its soft lighting and the sound of the ocean, the restaurant is a wonderfully romantic place to enjoy dinner. There's a wide selection of dishes, from traditional Mexican and fresh seafood right through to international dishes. The wine choices on offer are good too.
