The beach at Om Tulum is a wonderful stretch of fine white sand edged by the azure waters of the Caribbean.

This part of the beach, further south towards the Biosphere Reserve, is fabulous for long walks. If time is no object you could walk right into the Biosphere from here.

The small cabanas are usually well screened from view by the numerous palms, so it feels very untouched and unspoilt.

There's a good selection of beach beds, hammocks and chairs to relax in and palapas and large shades provide a welcome escape from the sunshine.

The beach bar serves cold drinks, including beers and cocktails and there is a good snack menu available.
