| We loved Tulum! The setting of the hotel is beautiful and the facilities for dining and lounging on the beach are really nice. The rooms aren't wonderful. They are a little dirty and if you get a ground floor room very cramped. There were dead mosquitos all over our room. I probably wouldn't stay in this hotel again but I would definitely come back to Tulum. The staff was very nice and accommodating though.

| We had a terrible experience at Om. I would not recommend this hotel and would urge you to remove them from your listing. The room that they gave us for our honeymoon was a dark room with bad lighting and was NOT a partial ocean view in the least. it was on the first floor directly in view of the hot kitchen - aromas drifting in and not an ocean in sight. very misleading advertising. secondly, they charged us 3 different exchange rates - all arbitrary and only to benefit them. for instance, if we paid in pesos, they charged us an exchange rate of 14. (we then opted to pay in dollars). We needed change for the balance, and when they converted our change from dollars to pesos, the exchange rate suddenly became 10. The restaurant charged an exchange rate of 11. we ended up leaving after staying and paying only for one night. the woman at the front desk apologized for being rude to us the previous night and explained that many people were complaining so much that she was at her wits end. The owner was not there so we could not speak directly to him. This was a terrible choice and we would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The owner obviously does not care at all about customer service and satisfaction, and would rather deceive them for their money instead of being fair. E. Lui, United States

| We enjoyed Om very much. Barbara and Manuel were both very helpful and friendly, and the restaurant was good. There was a crying baby one night that kept us up, but that wasn't their fault. The only complaint about the rooms was that there was a strong sewage smell at times, but they seemed to be trying to address it. Prices were a little high for the room overall, but we realize it was Christmas week and rates were high all around. Thanks for your help and setting us up, we enjoyed our trip tremendously…got to see some baby turtles on the beach, which was great! K. Bruhn, Santa Monica, United States
