| We had the most amazing time out there - all the hotels were lovely and accommodating- it is a really fabulous country. It has definitely inspired me to travel more in that part of the world. | As in the past we had a wonderful time in Oaxaca. The hotel rooms seemed to be in slightly better repair than last year. They are very clean and quite comfortable. The staff responded to the few needs we had directly...the TV wouldn't work. (it turned out that there was a whole plug not working.) Speaking of TV it would be wonderful if they had one news network in English. Last year they had the BBC but it was gone this year. I do think they could put the bottled water in the room as a courtesy rather than charging 12.00 for it. The restaurant/bar situation on the other hand is somewhat disorganized. The bar in the patio does not seem to be used much so it is not staffed even though the lights are on. It is very difficult to get service and it is slow and somewhat surly when you do get it. If they don't want the bar to be a working bar then they should remove it. I will definitely stay there again. The hotel does seem to be paying attention. It's quiet and well located.

| I am pleased to give you some feedback on the Parador del Dominico. While the staff was extremely helpful and patient, I didn’t think this property was in line with the standards that I have come to associate with different world. I have stayed in a number of places that you have recommend on your site...they all share a high degree of charm, authenticity, comfort and beauty. I thought the parador was really quite average. Fake plants on the patios... Very small bathrooms with flimsy shower doors. American breakfasts.... Florescent lighting and tacky art work.
