Oaxaca is famous for its specialties - mole sauces, stringy cheese and even grasshoppers - and it's difficult to not to eat well in town. This restaurant is no exception, and the service here is very good too.
You'll undoubtedly want to try many other eateries in this gastronomic heaven too, but don't leave town without sampling a mole sauce at least once. (If you think that the combination of chocolate and chilies sounds a little rich, remember that the Mexicans can eat this at breakfast!)
For lunch, we tried the tacos with chicken and the quesadillas, both from the Oaxacan specialities, and both featuring the local stringy cheese. Ideal for a light meal, these were very tasty and attractively served, and prices are very reasonable (about 20 pesos each).
International selections are also available.
