| I was extremely pleased with my stay at the Posada Carmina - I have no constructive criticism (and I am good at that) - the positive: - the location was the best, right in the heart of the town, bustling and happening (the restaurant, inside and outdoors in lovely courtyard, seems to be a popular meeting place for locals, expats, and tourists) but succeeding to avoid the noise, traffic, and commercialism associated with a downtown location - the people at the front desk (including the owners), the chambermaid (the room was very clean and well tended to), the guards at front door at night, were all very friendly, helpful, and professional - the edifice itself was beautiful, 'real', elegant, and in no way 'neo'/'tacky' (vs others, where I only dined, didn't stay) - and all this, they did not take advantage and charge high prices - very reasonable cost. | We enjoyed our too short stay at Posada Carmina. We have been coming to San Miguel since 1990 and have always enjoyed the comida corrida and this time the evening meal with the huge "Happy Hour" drinks, we were always greeted with a friendly smile and made to feel comfortable.

| We were pleased with the hotel. The location was fabulous, even if a bit noisy at night. The staff was the biggest plus. All were helpful, friendly, courteous, and efficient. Our usual breakfast waiter had our consistent order memorized in two days. He was delightful, as were all the staff we got to know.
