The restaurant at Posada Carmina is a favorite with locals and tourists alike. It features an extensive menu of mainly Mexican dishes that all very reasonably priced.

It's hard to resist the bountiful breakfasts served under the orange trees in the courtyard, with a choice including hotcakes, fruit, cereals and a list of egg specialties.

Many guests find they return here for the majority of their meals in San Miguel, although the restaurant currently closes on Tuesdays.

In addition to the courtyard tables, it's worth checking out the dining room at the rear of the hotel, which was once a stables. Some of the original fixtures have been retained, including stone troughs and impressive fireplaces.
