Posada Margherita is is a small and friendly rustic resort located on a beautiful stretch of beach.

It's within easy access of many other cabanas that offer plenty of alternative drinking and dining options, so there's plenty of variety (though you may find it difficult to find a better restaurant than the one at Posada Margherita!)

The rooms, while not directly on the beach, are all only a few steps away and most of them have glimpses of the beach and ocean through the tropical gardens. They are simply furnished, comfortable and spotlessly clean. There are just eight cabanas which are idea for couples and small families; two of the rooms have additional beds and would work well for larger families.

Although there are no electrical outlets there is 24-hour electrical lighting and the recent addition of surprisingly effective tower fans ensures that the rooms are kept cool in the evenings.

We were also pleasantly surprised to find other amenities not typically found in this part of Tulum, including room service, and wireless internet in the restaurant and surrounding beach area.

There are an increasing number of cabanas springing up along this stretch of coast but what we believe really sets Posada Margherita apart from its neighbors is the dedicated and friendly service of the staff and its amazing restaurant. This place soon feels like home and is a fabulous place to chill out, relax and forget all about the pressures of everyday life.
