the guest rooms
There are just eight rooms arranged through pretty tropical
gardens at Posada Margarita. Quaint duplex buildings, topped with palapa roofs,
house both a first (ground) floor room and an upper floor room.
Posada Margarita is located in a long narrow plot of land and, although none of the rooms have direct ocean views, most do have glimpses of the turquoise Caribbean from their terraces. And as this is such a small resort, the beach is always only steps away from your room.
Lush palm trees, tropical shrubs and colorful flowers line the little walkways while shady terraces provide the perfect refuge from the afternoon heat. This is a perfect place to come to kick of your shoes and just relax.
The accommodation here at Posada
Margarita is very versatile and excellent
for couples or families. Most of the cabanas have a
queen bed and an additional single bed which is slightly
partitioned from the main room and could act as a sitting
area or bedroom for a 3rd person. There are two larger
cabanas with additional beds that are perfect for larger
families.
Although quite rustic, the rooms do have 24-hour lighting, a tower fan to keep you cool in the evenings and 24-hour a day hot water. Be warned though that there are no electrical sockets in the rooms so you'll have to leave that hairdryer at home!
