our opinion
All the rooms are beautifully furnished with local arts and crafts. Splashes of bright Mexican color are thoughtfully provided with a carefully placed cushion or artistically draped throw.
Each room, although rustic in appearance, has modern facilities designed to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The service is good too - we liked the morning coffee delivered to your room each morning.
Life at La Quinta Troppo is rustic simplicity at its finest. There is no dining room; the restaurant is a clutch of tables set up on the terrace with magnificent views of the ocean and twinkling stars as its ceiling.
For non-beach lovers the hotel has a terrace bar with small pool where you can relax with a cocktail and soak up the sun.
The hotel has its own boat for taking trips around Zihuatanejo and the local bays, and Spanish lessons are available for those that like a little more to do while on vacation.
Upon arrival at La Quinta Troppo you are greeted with a welcome margarita. We felt instantly at home and found it very hard to leave - we think you will too.
