| We had a great time at Ikal del Mar. The accommodations were lovely and we were really pleased with our choice. My only comment would be that the evening menu needs more casual food if they want to keep guests on site. Perhaps more traditional mexican dishes as they offer for breakfast (great!) and lunch. We went to Playa del Carmen for dinner a few nights just to have variety. Overall a delight. Thank you! M. Krempels, United States

| Thanks for the mail, we had a fantastic time at Ikal del Mar it really is a wonderful place. I don't think there's anything I would have changed about Ikal. The quality of service was extremely high and their attention to every detail was first class. Some of the little touches we really liked were: 1. The early morning tea and coffee service 2. Breakfast whenever you want it 3. Friendly bar service to your beach lounger including a regular supply of cold flannels 4. The ceviché menu (loads to choose from and the lobster was superb) 5. The hotel information pack - extremely well written, clear and with a great sense of humour (apparently it won a recent travel award for honesty as they admit their pool is small but beautifully formed) 6.
