From the Villa Premiere it's a nice stroll along Playa Camarones and the Malecon into the old town.

Since Hurricane Kenna, the beach outside the hotel is wide but quite pebbly. However, there's plenty of soft sand below the waterline and swimming here is very enjoyable.

The hotel has sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach for guests' use, plus some fantastic new four-poster daybeds.
