| Villa Rolandi was small, quiet and luxurious - the perfect beginning to our vacation. The setting was absolutely stunning, with a view of pool and water and, in the distance, Cancun's skyline. Our room was spacious and the double shower/steam bath and private deck-jacuzzi were heavenly, especially after we were caught in a passing thunder shower while exploring the island on our motor scooter. We found the staff to be professional and courteous, on the Catamaran "Cocoon" and at the hotel and restaurant. Villa Rolandi was a little piece of paradise, with the lagoon at back and the strait out front, with its private beach and beautiful pool. We loved it there. If we were to make any negative comments about the hotel, it would be that Villa Rolandi was a bit on the expensive side for us, even factoring in the two meals included in the daily room rate. Having said that, we would return to the hotel and are already discussing our next visit. Thanks for all the help we received from Different World for booking our stay - your suggestions were excellent and we will contact Different World first before again traveling anywhere exotic. J. | Thank You... we thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Villa Rolandi. They were very attentive and friendly. The service was top notch. We loved the dinner on the beach it was very romantic and thankfully we were there alone. A few nights they had 3 couples and tables set up and to me that's not very private. The food was great, but being in Mexico we would of liked at least a few selections of Mexican food other than the guacamole for lunch. We did go into town 3-4 times and had our fill there. Also the continental breakfast was not really that great. The rolls were hard dinner rolls which we never ate. I am not complaining here just thinking they could have some type of Mexican pastries like most resorts have. I do understand this is a Italian owned resort so maybe they don't want to get into the Mexican aspect. The rooms were great especially the bathroom. The shower was to die for! I loved it especially with the steam factor. We did not use the Jacuzzi too much on the balcony and would of preferred maybe chaise lounges on the balcony instead so we could enjoy our view. Also since we were honeymooners we were not too thrilled that they put two beds together to make a king size bed. That lump in the middle was not very pleasurable. The pool area was great and also the beach. The beach was smaller but very clean and nice. We did go into town via golf cart and spend a day at the North end beaches. The hotel was very good at arranging anything we needed to go outside the resort. All in all it was a great honeymoon. We will definitely use Different World again when we plan our next trip. Your personal service to detail and prompt responses are refreshing. Again thank you so much for your concern and help in planning this great holiday.

I would first like to say that we highly recommended different world to practically every vacationer we met while in Mexico, as not only your website but customer service was outstanding! On a brighter note! Villa Rolundi was exceptional. Fantastic food, impeccable service. A joy to stay there. Nelson, Jesus, Ariel, Miguel and all of the staff made us forget we were ever in Essencia.
