Standard rooms are of average size, but feature lovely antique bed heads and sometimes twin four posters. With their high ceilings and wooden floors, these elegant quarters will satisfy those searching for some real colonial atmosphere. We also like the bright and airy bathrooms with their sparkling white tiles.

These rooms overlook either Avenida Madero or the internal courtyards. The latter is recommended for light sleepers, but the former have good views and sometimes even small balconies.

A few of the rooms have two small queen size beds or two doubles and so are suitable for triple occupancy, though we wouldn't recommend this.

Similarly, in a small number of standard rooms an additional rollaway bed can be accommodated.

There are also two connecting standard rooms, one with a double bed and one with two twin beds, that are a good choice for families.

The light and airy bathrooms are spotlessly clean and have large mirrors and good lighting.
