the guest rooms
This grand colonial mansion now boasts 55 well appointed rooms and suites, appropriately furnished with antiques and paintings of the period. Standard rooms aren't large but are very charming and atmospheric, while the suites exude colonial elegance, some with beamed ceilings or balconies overlooking the Zocalo.Rooms facing Avenda Madero or the Zocalo have great views of the historic center of Morelia but can be noisy. This is a disadvantage shared by many of the centrally located hotels in Morelia - unfortunately for tourists, the city is also a busy business center and traffic along the main streets is notorious.
Quieter rooms face one of the two interior courtyards and are equally well furnished. All guests can take advantage of the great views from the front of the hotel by relaxing on the large balcony lounge on the third floor (when it is not in use for functions).
Modern elevators service all the floors of the hotel and laundry (same day service) and room service (7.30am to 10.30pm) are available.
