the guest rooms
The garden and jungle view rooms are located in two slightly larger 3-story buildings just behind the ocean front rooms. From their terraces there are partial ocean views and the beach is just steps away. Each building is set in sand, built with a mix of adobe, wood and palapa and surrounded by palms and tropical shrubbery, giving them a very tropical appearance.
The top floor rooms have a palapa roof and are in general a little more open and rustic than the lower floor rooms, having one or more walls made partially from sticks which helps keep them cool. All the beds are protected by netting, but if you're worried about mosquitoes and small bugs the lower floor rooms would make a better choice as they are almost completely sealed.
The beds are suspended by ropes from the ceiling and swing freely, but if you don't like this arrangement, wooden blocks can be placed under the bed to stop the swinging effect.
Bathrooms are well screened from the bedroom, but there is no door between the the two rooms so it would help to be good friends with anyone sharing! The bathrooms are very pretty and continue the tropical beach feel with pebbles inset into the sinks and even conch shells disguised as taps.
