| The folks at Casa del Agua went above and beyond to resolve a number of personal issues that came up. The food was delicious! I would not especially recommend the downstairs room as the lobby traffic noise (particularly at dinner) bleeds into the room. You kind of feel as tho you are overhearing private conversations. The soundproofing between rooms is somewhat thin...quiet lovemaking only. :) Again, the site is beautiful and the beach is lovely, although Puerto Aventuras is nothing to write home about. I think next time I would stay in Playa del Carmen. But beyond all else I must acknowledge the professional services of the driver you recomended, Maurcio de la Serna. As referenced above, I lost my passport, had no luggage, and my boyfriend from Costa Rica was detained by immigration in Mexico City for a day. Mauricio was invaluable in helping me thro the associated red tape...I mean he was truly an angel and I cannot imagine what I would have done without him. Don't lose this guy! He is one in a million! | We had the most wonderful stay at Casa Del Agua! The staff were super friendly and accommodating. We loved the beach; it was relatively quiet... no spring-breakers here! Lots of families down the way. The food was quite wonderful; Phillipe served the yummiest breakfasts every morning. In fact, the breakfasts were so large that we didn't need lunch at all; we just walked into the marina for dinner every night except one, when he prepared a dinner for us that was, again, great! We can't wait to go back! The whole are was gorgeous, and this home was a perfect blend with the environment. Thank you for all of your help in arranging our stay!
