Mosquito Blue is different: we love the luxuriously stylish rooms, fabulous pool and also the location. Restricting the clientele to over 16s only is a wise move in our opinion - the grounds aren't large but with this provision there is plenty of space, privacy and tranquility for everyone. Although not directly on the beach, the location is still hard to beat. It's only a small property, but clever use of the space has resulted in some unique and very appealing features. As the only access to the hotel is via the beach, it's surprisingly quiet - even the swimming pool is elevated from the beach level and is very private. The style of the property is very different to others in this area. It is less beach cabana and more of a elegant but rustic hotel. Canopied beds, rattan furniture and cream stone bathrooms which feature a large soaking tub add to the style. The hotel has a very good spa which offers a range of services from massages to facials and some wonderful spa ritual packages. There is a small restaurant which serves breakfast.
