Playa la Media Luna WE LIKE: Good location; all ocean-front rooms; family friendly Set on the tranquil Half Moon beach and just a couple of minutes walk from Isla Mujeres town, the Playa la Media Luna enjoys a perfect location. All 18 rooms at the hotel are ocean front, each commanding stunning views of the pool, beach and ocean. The hotel is family run, and they welcome children - it's a lovely place for them to wander around, and there's a children's pool for them to play in - the first (ground) floor double rooms are particulary recommended for families.
