In a nutshell:
Simple and charming little bungalows in tropical colors, set on a beautiful beach.  The bungalows do not have cooking facilities but are adjacent to an excellent restaurant.  No swimming pool or regular hotel facilities – the bungalows are ideal for an off-the-grid, low-key beach vacation.

The Playa Rosa Bungalows are three pastel colored, thatched roof cottages set amidst palm trees on a beautiful and quiet beach close to the Careyes hotel and the Casitas de las Flores. The casitas have one king or two double beds and private bathrooms (but no kitchen or dining facilities).

The interiors are simply furnished but the bedrooms are air-conditioned, and equipped with hairdryers and a TV. If you like the idea of a cute bunglow on the beach but don’t want to sacrifice comfort or amenities, this unconventional little hotel could be perfect for you.

Close to the bungalows is the acclaimed Playa Rosa restaurant, serving breakfasts and excellent seafood right by the ocean. The property does not have a swimming pool, but the sheltered bay is usually ideal for swimming.

The bunglows are a perfect choice for escapists and beach lovers who prefer a quiet location and a beautiful, natural setting.

Rooms

The three cute bungalows have a rustic, tropical appearance from the outside, with low thatched roofs and jewel colored walls. The interiors, however, are comfortable and elegant.  The bedroom is air-conditioned and the screened windows and doors keep out bugs. Bathrooms feature a walk-in shower and a vanity unit. Hairdryers are provided.

Do you dream of waking up on the beach each morning? Here, the ocean is visible from your bed, and you can walk barefoot over the grass to the beach should you wish to.

restaurant

The Playa Rosa restaurant is adjacent to the bungalows, and is one of the nicest ocean front restaurants that we’ve found. It is indepently owned and operated, and is popular with local residents as well as with guests at the bungalows.

A wide choice of dishes are available, with the emphasis on fish and seafood. This is also the perfect setting for a cool beer or a margarita.

beach

Step outside your bungalow, and a few paces takes you to the soft sand of Playa Rosa, a beautiful, palm fringed beach. This sheltered bay offers good swimming conditions and clear water. The beach is generally quiet and peaceful.

We highly recommend taking a boat tour to the neighboring bays where you can discover other beautiful beaches like Playa Rosa. With dense palm groves and dramatic cliffs, this is one of the most picturesque coastlines in Mexico.
